Abu Dhabi: “The Gulf”, Major General Sheikh Ahmed bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, opened the hybrid solar power station. The Ministry of Defense stated that the station’s capacity is 3 megawatts, and it also contains a 2.4 -megawatt energy storage system, and covers an area of 40 thousand square meters. She pointed out that the station is expected to produce 6 million and 900 kilowatts/hour of electricity, which contributes to reducing fuel consumption 60%.
