Côte d’Ivoire announced its withdrawal from organizing the African Youth Cup, a month before its start, to ask enough of the Egyptian Football Association to host the tournament, which was approved by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
Details of the African Under -20 Championship
12 teams for the African Nations Cup will participate in 3 teams, with 3 groups, so that each group includes 4 teams.
The first and second places of each group qualify to the quarter -finals, in addition to the best teams from the third place.
The first four centers in the championship will also qualify directly to the U -20 World Cup, scheduled to be held in Chile during the period from September 27 to October 1925, with the participation of 24 teams.
