The Israeli Jerusalem Post reported that leaking information about a plan to strike Iranian nuclear facilities is a direct message to Iranian Leader Ali Khamenei.
The Israeli newspaper stated that the message to Iran stated that the Iranian nuclear program was almost eliminated, and that this fate is still a possibility if the current negotiations fail.

Jerusalem Post noted that Israel has seriously studied that Iran’s nuclear facilities have been set several times since October 2024.
The American New York Times published today, quoting informed sources within the American administration, that President Donald Trump stopped an Israeli military attack that was scheduled for next May, against Iranian nuclear facilities, preferring to open the door for negotiation with Tehran to reach an agreement that restricts its nuclear program.
The newspaper said that Israel had already put plans to attack Iranian nuclear facilities with the help of Washington within weeks, with the aim of disrupting Tehran’s ability to develop a nuclear weapon for at least a year.
She stated that the implementation of this plan was required direct American support, whether to repel any possible Iranian response or to ensure the success of the air strikes.
According to the newspaper sources, the Trump administration concluded a fragile consensus in favor of the diplomatic path, coinciding with the start of negotiations between the United States and Iran, and agreement to resume it.
