Major General Ibrahim Abu Limon, Governor of Menoufia, announced the results of the inspection campaigns carried out by the Directorate of Supply and Internal Trade during Thursday and Friday, which resulted in the editing of 209 various ration records.

Violations varied between 138 minutes of bakeries due to weight loss and lack of adherence to the specifications, and 71 markets records that included violations such as selling at higher prices than the official price, the lack of declaration of prices and the lack of necessary health requirements.
5 tons of rice in Menoufia
Among the most prominent controls, the supervisory bodies were able to seize 5 tons of unknown rice inside a grocery store in Menouf, without legal documents, and the necessary legal measures were taken against violators.
The Governor of Menoufia stressed the continued intensification of strict field control over the markets and commercial stores to control prices and combat the circulation of goods that are not suitable for consumption, stressing the need to monitor citizens’ complaints and immediate interaction with them to ensure the provision of basic commodities with appropriate quality and prices.
