Indian police said on Wednesday that 26 people were killed and 17 others were wounded when armed men opened to fire in the Jamo and Kashmir region in India in the worst attack of its kind in the country in nearly two decades.

The attack took place on Tuesday in Bahajam, a famous destination in the fighter region in the Himalayas, which witnessed a recovery in group tourism with the decline of rebel violence in recent years, according to Reuters.
In a related context, Prime Minister Narendra Modi cut off his two -day visit to Saudi Arabia, and returned to New Delhi on Wednesday morning, and the Finance Minister Nermalla Sitaramann cut her visit to the United States and Peru.
