“The market may test the level of $ 3400 an ounce over the next nine months in a bullish scenario,” said Akash Duchi, head of the Gold Research Department at State Street Global Advisers.
The anticipation dominated the market before the American customs duties, which will be announced at 2000 GMT today, Wednesday, in what Trump called “Tahrir Day”.
Saeed Imbabi, Executive Director of the “i -Salaf” platform for gold and jewelry trading online, said that gold prices in the Egyptian local markets increased by 565 pounds during the first quarter trading this year.
The gram of 21 carat gold opened trading with the beginning of January at the level of 3740 pounds, and touched the level of 4425 pounds, and concluded transactions at the end of March at the level of 4420 pounds.
The ounce of the World Stock Exchange increased by about 502 dollars during the first quarter trading, as the transactions opened at the level of 2624 dollars, and touched the level of 3128 dollars as the highest level in its hiking on March 31, and concluded the transactions at the level of 3126 dollars.
