The division of the Gaza Strip
For his part, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced the start of dividing the Gaza Strip and controlling the Morge axis, which will be the Philadelphi II axis, he said.
Netanyahu revealed that the Israeli army is “dividing” the Gaza Strip and “controlling” spaces in it in order to restore the prisoners, which are held by Hamas.
He said in a statement that the army “is dividing the Strip and gradually increasing the pressure, in order to restore the (Hamas movement) to our hostages,” according to the French News Agency.
He also added that Israel “controls lands”, strikes Hamas militants and destroys infrastructure.
It ended the ceasefire agreement
On March 18, Israel had ended the ceasefire agreement with Hamas, and launched a sudden wave of air strikes, which caused the martyrdom of hundreds of Palestinians throughout Gaza.
