Dr. Khaled Abdel Halim, Governor of Qena, witnessed the celebration organized by the Egypt Public Library in Qena on the occasion of the National Day of the Governorate.

During his speech, the governor of Qena stressed that Egypt’s public library represents a great cultural edifice that contributes to spreading a culture of reading between the various segments of society, through the availability of books and scientific references to researchers, in a way that enhances the cognitive level of the people Literary, cultural and artistic.
The governor pointed out that these efforts come in implementation of the directives of the political leadership of the necessity of building the Egyptian person and enhancing awareness and culture in new generations, in order to achieve the goals of the cultural axis in Egypt’s Vision 2030, and contribute to achieving sustainable development.
The ceremony included playing national peace, and a blessed recitation of the Holy Qur’an presented by the child Yara Yasser, then a paragraph of the religious chant presented by the vocalist Hussein Nour, and a sporting presentation of children’s talents, and at the end of the celebration, the governor of Qena distributed prizes and shields and certificates of appreciation to the winners in the various library competitions.
