The Meteorological Authority announced the expected weather details today, Saturday, March 8, 2025, where it is expected that the weather is cold in the early morning, moderate during the day on Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, Northern Coasts and North Upper Egypt, while it is warm to South Sinai and southern Upper Egypt, and during the hours of the night, the weather is cold at the beginning, very cold at the end of it over most of the country.
Weather today
The authority explained that the most prominent weather phenomena include waterwall in the morning on some roads leading to and from Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, Northern Coasts, Canal City, Central Sinai and North Upper Egypt, which may lead to a decrease in horizontal visibility, and also indicated that there are weak opportunities for light rains in separate areas of the northeastern coasts and northern Lower Egypt at intermittent periods.
Bahrain case
As for the case of Bahrain, it is expected that the Mediterranean Sea is light -waved with a height between (1.25: 1.75) meters, while the Red Sea is light wave, and its height ranges between (1: 1.5) meters, and the wind direction in both is northwest.
Expected temperatures
As for the expected temperatures, Greater Cairo records 22 degrees Celsius for the Great and 12 for the minimum, while the marine face records the same degrees, and in the northern coasts, the temperatures range between 19 and 11 degrees, while in the south of Upper Egypt it is 26 degrees per grades and 14 for the minor.
The authority confirmed that the wind will be moderate in general, with a speed of 22 km per hour on Greater Cairo, and 26 km in Lower Egypt, while they are relatively lighter in the northern coasts, central and southern Upper Egypt.
This statement comes within the daily updates of the General Meteorological Authority to follow up on weather conditions and warn citizens of any climate changes that may affect daily activities.
