Dr. Khaled Abdel Halim, the governor of Qena, visited Ashraf Anwar, head of the local unit of the Dishna Center and City, while receiving medical care at Qena General Hospital, after he had an attack from a person using a white weapon during his work inside the city.
Qena Governor reassures the health status of the head of the city of Dishna
During the visit, the governor reassured the health status of the city’s president, praising his national spirit and his devotion in performing his duties to serve the citizens, stressing that the relevant agencies closely follow the developments of investigations to ensure the application of the law and take the necessary measures regarding the incident.
The head of the local unit of the Dishna Center and City left the hospital after receiving the necessary medical care, as medical reports confirmed the stability of his health, and he is now in a rest period to follow up on his recovery.
In this context, the governor of Qena stressed that the safety of workers in the executive apparatus is a top priority, and that no assault will be tolerated during the performance of their duty, noting that the competent authorities will take all the deterrent legal measures against the aggressor, to ensure that such incidents are not repeated.
The governor of Qena stressed that such incidents will not discourage executive leaders from performing their duty towards citizens and achieving the desired development, calling on everyone to investigate the accuracy of transferring information and relying on official sources.
It is noteworthy that Ashraf Anwar, head of the local unit of the Dishna Center and City, is one of the best local leaders, as he proved his worth in the various positions he held, based on extensive experience and a comprehensive development vision, and he had the confidence of the executive leadership, where he held the presidency of a number of major cities, and had a prominent role in developing services provided to citizens and achieving tangible achievements on the ground.
