Port Said Governorate is witnessing extensive efforts to provide food commodities at reduced prices during the month of Ramadan, as several exhibitions and initiatives aimed at supporting citizens and alleviating economic burdens from them.
We are all one exhibition
The Port Said Security Directorate opened the exhibition we are all one in the field of fishermen, a vital location that is easy to reach, under the auspices of the president, and the exhibition provided basic goods at discounted prices, as the price of rice reached 20 pounds, and the oil was 45 pounds, within the framework of government efforts to control prices and provide citizens’ needs at reasonable prices.

The Port Said Chamber of Commerce organized an exhibition inside the Al -Zuhur neighborhood, which is one of the largest popular areas in the governorate, with the participation of 25 exhibitors who presented products at competitive prices, among the prominent offers, the sale of two firmness at a price of 180 pounds, and the fresh municipal meat and kilos of 280 pounds, allowing citizens to buy their needs at lower prices than the market.
Parties and NGOs initiatives
Political parties launched multiple exhibitions, which relied on selling products at a sectoral prices, such as cheese at 10 pounds, yogurt at 4 pounds, sugar at 29 pounds, and dates at prices starting from 10 pounds per kilo, to reduce the burden on citizens.
NGOs also organized internal exhibitions to sell products at reasonable prices, in addition to carrying out inventory operations for simple families with the aim of distributing Ramadan cartons that include basic needs such as rice, oil, pasta, and sauce.
The role of civil society and parties
These initiatives reflect joint cooperation between government agencies, political parties, and civil society, to ensure the stability of markets and provide goods at reasonable prices, which enhances social solidarity and supports the most needy groups during the holy month.

For its part, Port Said Governorate is organizing the largest group breakfast table for citizens from the city and abroad, during which any number of citizens will be received, and luxurious foods of meat, poultry and fish are served, along with juices and sweets, in order to ensure that there is no citizen who does not find his breakfast.
