Turkish media reported that the two persons who shot the Iraqi consulate in Istanbul were arrested.
The newspaper “Al -Sabah” indicated that the accident occurred in the Shishli region of Tiba, where the attackers, who were on a motorcycle, fired nine bullets at the consulate building without anyone being injured.
The newspaper pointed out that the organized crime control teams intervened immediately after the accident and succeeded in arresting the attackers after they suffered an accident while trying to escape.
She added that the suspects who belong to the “Dalton” gang have been detained, and the necessary legal measures were taken against them.
On Friday, the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that its consulate building in Istanbul was subjected to bullets by unknown persons.
