The security services in the martyrs center in Menoufia Governorate arrested those accused of a number of citizens, after receiving several reports accusing them of seizing money on the pretext of providing job opportunities abroad, and the security moves came after the liberation of four official records, in which they reported to pay 10 thousand pounds for each of them without obtaining any services in exchange for that.

Some of the victims explained that the defendants took advantage of the youth’s desire to travel to work abroad, as they deluded them to conduct medical statements in a private hospital in Cairo as part of the travel procedures, before it became clear later that they were exposed to a fraud, and some victims confirmed that about 600 people were subjected to the monument in the same way, which means that the defendants collected millions of young pounds.

A number of victims indicated during a video of Cairo 24 that they had to borrow or sell their property to pay the required amounts, in the hope of achieving the dream of traveling, but they were surprised by the delay in implementing the agreement or restoring their money, despite their continuous attempts to persuade the accused to return the money through mediations of senior families.
The concerned agencies continue to investigate the accused to reveal more details about the case, and to know the actual number of victims, amid demands from the families to take the necessary legal measures to ensure the return of the money and punish those involved in the incident.
