Dr. Ahmed Zarea, a spokesman for Al -Azhar University, denied the validity of what has been circulated regarding the investigation Dr. Mabrouk AttiaDue to his appearance on a program on a satellite channel and hosted by some of the characters that sparked the controversy.

Zaraa said during his statements to Cairo 24, that until Monday, during his presence in the University Council, no one has submitted any complaints to investigate Dr. Mabrouk Attia at all, adding 8 am and I am with the university president today and we did not receive anything regarding his investigation, or any matters related to this matter.
A spokesman for Al -Azhar University added that as soon as any complaints were received, they will be examined immediately and investigated, and then declaring them to the public clearly and transparently.
Asked about his opinion about what Dr. Mabrouk Attia offers, and his appearance with a number of artists, Zaraa stressed: I am not an investigation or evaluation authority, and our job is to look at the complaints that come to us and examine them, and then announce the results for the public, saying: Each one has his point of view and responsible for his actions, and university work for him definitely respect.
He added: Al -Azhar University has not said anything in this matter yet, and my job is to transfer what is issued by the university and not talk about the matter from my personal view.
Earlier, Sheikh Ahmed Turki attacked Al -Azhar, Dr. Mabrouk Attia, a professor at Al -Azhar University, after presenting his Ramadan program during the Bodcast episode of Mabrouk’s words.
