Magda Morris, head of the Drama Committee of the Supreme Council for Media Regulation, confirmed that the formation of the committee came at an ideal time to save the Egyptian drama, noting the need to restore the Egyptian drama to its correct path away from the scenes of violence and bullying.
Magda commented on the announcement of the director Mohamed Sami his retirement, and she said in a special statement to Cairo 24: A statement of the retirement of Mohamed Sami came as a result of a reaction to the attack and criticism from the audience, and in my opinion his work is not the best.

Magda Morris has already said: No one loves violence and bullying, and our society is not like that .. If we see an accident or two, it does not mean that 100 million Egyptians are like that. The Egyptians cannot be described as the way we see in the drama.
She added that the return of the National Media Authority for dramatic production is a necessary step, stressing that the golden age of Egyptian drama came through the production of institutions such as the Voice of Cairo and the Media Production City, which presented distinguished works that affected the conscience of the Egyptian viewer.
She also indicated that Egypt has a long history in the TV drama, and that great names such as Nour Al -Demerdash, Mohamed Fadel, and Osama Anwar Okasha contributed to making an upscale drama that the Egyptian public interacted greatly with.
She stressed that the Egyptian public is always looking for good works that express it sincerely, and that the drama committee seeks to control the content provided to the public, in line with the Egyptian societal values.
