A woman was killed during a nose plastic surgery in Al -Muthanna Governorate, in southern Iraq, which led the wound to flee.
Iraqi media said that the woman underwent a plastic surgery in a private hospital, on Tuesday, when she died suddenly.
She added that the doctor who performed the operation escaped from the hospital, while the security authorities opened an investigation into the death after receiving a report from the victims.
She explained that the local authorities continue their legal procedures to pursue the doctor and reveal the circumstances of the accident.
It was not clear details about the victim’s age, and whether there was a suspicion of a medical error during the operation.
The death sparked widespread reactions that exceeded the borders of the city of Samawah, the center of Al -Muthanna Governorate, to various parts of Iraq, where rhinoplasty operations are widespread in the country.
