The competition between the Saudi Roshn League clubs is intensified to sign international defender Ali Lajami, the player of Al -Nasr Club, during the next summer transfer period, in light of Al -Hilal and Al -Ahly’s interest in his inclusion, while Al -Nasr seeks to renew his contract.
According to the journalist Ahmed Al -Jadi, Fernando Hierro, sports director of victory, took over the file of renewal of Lajami’s contract over the past months, but the negotiations have not yet been decided, which prompted CEO Majid Al -Jumaan to intervene personally to end the file and keep the player.
On the other hand, the newspaper “Al -Watan” reported that Al -Hilal sees in Lagami a strategic choice to support his defense line, and plans to make an official offer to include it in the summer.
As for Al -Ahly, according to the journalist, Saleh Omar Al -Ahmad, he succeeded in reaching an initial agreement with the player, to put Al -Hilal and Al -Nasr in a difficult position, especially since its offer is the largest in terms of period and financial value, as it extends for five seasons.
It is noteworthy that Lajami’s contract with Al -Nasr expires in June 2025, and its market value is 750 thousand euros, which makes his future one of the most prominent hot files in Mercato next summer.
