The Senate will resume its public session today, Monday, and it is expected that a number of discussion requests to the Minister of Electricity and Energy will be discussed.
Discussing requests directed at the Minister of Electricity and Energy
A number of deputies submitted requests to the Senate, especially for the electricity and energy file, to present it and discuss it during the council’s sessions and take the necessary measures.
The Senate discussed the report of the Joint Committee from the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee and the Office of the Committee of Industry and Trade and Medium, Small and Micro Enterprises on the study submitted by Representative Yasser Zaki regarding: Export Support and Support Egyptian Export Programs
The Chairman of the Council referred the report of the Joint Committee from the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee and the Office of the Industry and Trade Committee and Medium, small and micro projects on the study submitted on export support and support for Egyptian exports to the government.
The President of the Council recommended the government to implement the recommendations mentioned in this study, given its importance in supporting Egyptian exports.
The Counselor Abdel Wahab Abdel Razek also referred a request to discuss to clarify the government’s policy regarding increasing the competitiveness of Egyptian exports, and another request regarding the promotion of Egyptian exports abroad and ways to open new markets to the Industry Committee for their study and prepare a report on it to present to the council.
