In the crowds of life and its acceleration, a person may find himself busy with the continuous pursuit of what he lacks, forgetting or overwhelming the blessings surrounding him. Many think that happiness lies in achieving more achievements, or possessing new things, but the fact that many overlooks is that true happiness lies in contentment and contentment with what God has divided for us.

Satisfaction is not just an apparent acceptance of reality, saying in yourself: “I am satisfied”, while an inner voice whispered that you deserve more, but rather a deep awareness that what we have today is a divine grant that deserves thanks and meditation. God Almighty says: “And what is with you from a grace, from God”, “Al -Nahl: 53”. This verse alone is enough to make a person stop for a moment and contemplate the details of his life, to realize that the good that he blesses, no matter how simple, is in itself a blessing that requires gratitude.

Often, we forget to repeat “Praise be to God” sincerely. It is not just a word that is said in the tongue, but rather an inner feeling that fills the heart with reassurance. When a person contemplates himself, in his health, in the peace of mind he enjoys, and even in the cup of tea that he feels calm, he realizes that he has a lot of thanks.

The Prophet ﷺ summarized this fact for us in a great hadith in which he says: “The spirit of Jerusalem has been spoken in my pioneer that a soul will not come out of the world until it is completed by its sake, and its livelihood will be tired, so they will come to the request The sustenance is to ask him for the disobedience of God; For God does not obtain what he has except by obeying him. ” This hadith has the impact of anxiety from hearts, and gives a person an invaluable internal comfort.

How many people have lived his life in constant anxiety, he fears the loss or delay of his livelihood? How many people thought that his efforts might go in vain because he did not get what he wanted? But this honorable hadith clearly tells us: Do not be afraid, your livelihood is written, it will not increase and will not decrease, nor will you leave this world until you get it complete. Work is required, grandfather and diligence are necessary, but without exaggerated concern or unjustified fear of the future.

When a person is satisfied with what God has divided for him, he finds in his heart a comfort that no money or position can give him. Satisfaction does not mean stopping aspiration, but it means that a person seeks and strives, then leaves the results of God’s wisdom, and believes that what comes to him is the good for him, even if he does not understand the wisdom of him now. Why was the opportunity to marry? Why did my dream not come yet? But when we remember that the destiny is distributed with divine wisdom, and that there is good in everything that happens, we will feel an internal comfort and tranquility in the heart.

Happiness is not in the large number of money, nor in the large number of property, but in conviction. He who sees good with what he has, does not know sadness. He who focuses on what he lacks, will not feel satisfied, whatever he possesses.

Life is full of fluctuations, but the secret of true happiness lies in contentment and trust in God. When a person believes that his livelihood will not go to others, and that God has written goodness for him in all his conditions, he will live in a reassuring, happy, satisfied with what he has, thanking every moment of his life.

Consider these words, if you wake up today while you are in good health, this is a blessing. If you have food you eat, this is a blessing. If you are surrounded by people you love, this is a blessing. And if your heart is full of contentment, then this is the greatest grace.

Let us repeat it sincerely, saying, Praise be to God in any case, and with goodness and blessing, it is the secret of true happiness.
