The Kingdom of Bahrain has been keen to provide housing units to citizens in an organized manner since the seventies of the last century with the establishment of the first Ministry of Housing in the Kingdom, since then and Bahrain Akefa to implement many housing projects to meet the residents’ residential needs and ensure the development of housing and various government initiatives, and because housing is one of the most important issues that constitute a challenge in the Kingdom of Bahrain the issuance of the Royal Royal Guidance from Sidi His Majesty King Hamad bin Issa Al Khalifa, the monarch of the country, may God protect and preserve him, and supported him by accelerating the pace of housing projects to provide 50 thousand new housing units and developing public services to achieve qualitative transfers that keep pace with the aspirations of Bahrain and the prosperity of the Bahraini family, by allocating a budget for financing housing projects amounting to 800 million dinars in implementation of the visions and aspirations of His Majesty the King, may God protect him and his sponsors, and belief from His Majesty that housing is an essential part of Achieving the sustainable development goals that focus on reaching the citizen to the point of safety and stability.
Perhaps the goals of sustainable development – 17 global goals – put by the United Nations in 2015 to enhance development by 2030, to address global challenges, including poverty, health, education, safe cities and societies, and promoting sustainable urban planning, but Bahrain has since assumed His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country. Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, may God protect him, is striving to meet the citizen’s residential needs, and during the past few years, the government has been working to improve the quality of life for the citizen through various housing projects and services, but the government was keen to accelerate the pace of housing units and facilitate the procedures for obtaining housing and providing soft loans that help the citizen to buy a housing unit or build his own homes, and Bahrain is witnessing a commitment Government in providing housing through the distribution and delivery of housing units in all regions of Bahrain in an accelerated manner in response to the royal directives in providing a suitable residential environment for all.
The appropriate housing is the obsession of the citizen, who undoubtedly touches social and psychological stability, as it is definitely a source of safety and feeling comfortable and reassurance reflects the mental health on the citizen because the house he possesses represents his identity and affiliation, for investment in housing is not only a basic need, but rather represents the future of society, and contributes to building a strong and advanced society that achieves all the sustainable development goals, so we hope that the department of the beneficiaries expand For housing units, so that every young and old, a woman or a man, feels psychological and social stability, just like all citizens who live comfortably on the land of this good giving country.
