The Drinking Water and Sewerage Company in Luxor Governorate announced, at dawn today, Monday, good news for citizens to return water for all areas of Luxor, after a 6 -day interruption.

The city of Luxor had been subjected to the water interruption crisis 6 days ago, which caused citizens to discontent, especially with the beginning of the blessed month of Ramadan and their intense need to use water, after the collapse of the sewage line with a diameter of 700 mm in the Al -Hamzi area in Al -Habil, despite the recent repair work, which led to the return of the crisis strongly and comprehensively to the entire city of Luxor and its environs.
Last Saturday, the drinking water and sanitation company in Luxor announced that the water was completely cut to make urgent reforms in the main parcel of 1000 mm in the same area, after the completion of the adjacent line repair work.
The company also made an appeal to citizens, hospitals, and bakeries, that their water needs should be stored, warning against the continuation of the crisis until the completion of the repair work. The company also provided numbers to communicate with the operating room to receive inquiries and complaints.
