The Public Prosecution decided to release the child Faris Imad, who is accused of assaulting his colleagues at Al -Qanater Charitable School in Assiut, while it was decided to continue his father’s imprisonment until his appearance in front of the misdemeanor circle in the March 23 2025 session.
The Public Prosecution also referred the case for the four children, the accused and the three victims, to the Children’s Prosecution and events to take appropriate legal measures.
Details of the incident
The city of Assiut witnessed a quarrel between three students, where a student in the preparatory stage assaulted his colleagues using a “mousse” sharp machine, causing them to be wounded in the face, after they left one of the preparatory certificate exams, and the aggressor was accompanied by his father during the incident.
Major General Wael Nassar, Director of Assiut Security, received a notification from the Najda Police that a report was received from the people stating that a quarrel broke out between the preparatory certificate students at the Al -Qanater School in Al -Walidiya after the end of the exams. Immediately, the security services moved to the site of the accident, and preliminary investigations showed that the quarrel resulted in the injury of three students by their colleague, with his father’s participation in the attack.
The injured were transferred to university hospitals to receive the necessary treatment, while investigations continue to arrest the rest of the accused and take appropriate legal measures.
