The National Authority announced For Egypt’s railway, The position of the trains delay on its lines today, Monday, March 31, 2025, corresponding to the first days of Eid Al -Fitr 2025, in the context of ensuring that the amenities are provided to the trains of the trains, by defining the position of guidance and the expected delays on the movement of trains, in a new alert to citizens of the passenger public.
The National Railways Authority of Egypt, in a post on its official page on the social networking site Facebook, explained that this comes due to what the Railways Authority accomplishes during the current period of comprehensive development work on some lines, which would enhance safety and security factors, and raise the level of services provided to the passenger public.
Train movement today
In the following lines, we monitor the average delays of the expected railway trains on their lines in the tribal and sea sides.
First: Cairo line – Alexandria
Average trains delays 20 minutes.
Second: Cairo line – Assiut
Average trains delays 80 minutes.
Third: Assiut line – Aswan
Average trains delays 60 minutes.
Fourth: Benha’s line – Port Said
Average trains delays 90 minutes.
Fifth: Tanta line – Mansoura – Damietta
Average trains delays 45 minutes.
Sixth: Qalioub line – Shebin Al -Qanater – Zagazig – Mansoura
Average trains delays 45 minutes.
The Railways Authority for travelers apologized for these delays due to the guidance in some work sites in modern projects being implemented by the renewal and maintenance of the railways, the development of lubricants and stations and modernization of signal systems.
