The National Railways Authority announced the availability of obtaining Travel tickets On all trains and payment methods through a number of different roads, in order to facilitate the passenger audience and to meet the overburdening in front of the box office during the Eid Al -Fitr holiday 2025.
This came in implementation of the directives of the team, the engineer, the entire minister, the Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development, Minister of Industry and Transport, to improve the level of service provided to the passenger public, and within the framework of the keenness of the National Railways Authority of Egypt to provide the best possible service to the passenger public and in light of the continuous modernization of all sectors.
Methods of obtaining train tickets
Passenger audience can get train tickets through:
1- Ticket windows spread at the various stations of the authority.
2- Reservation via the authority’s website.
3- Reservation via the egyptian national railways app and is obtained from Play Store & App Store.
4- Selling agents from electronic collection companies contracting with the authority to provide a service to sell and issue tickets, which are: Fawry – Aman – Guard – Magic Bay – My Services – or Bay – Shot – Call Cool.
5- Booking tickets on air-conditioned and luxurious trains by calling the audio service on the number 1661 of the mobile phone or No. 09000661 from any ground phone for 15 days and even an hour before the train.
6- City offices spread outside the stations with 34 offices at the level of the Republic.
7 TVM self -reservation machines in some of the main stations.
Methods of paying the value of train tickets
The authority also provides several ways to pay the value of train tickets through:
1- Cash payment on all the authority’s windows and reservation offices, and electronic payment with electronic payment cards is also available on the authority’s box office.
2- Payment on the website and mobile phone application via Visa & Master.
3- Payment of the aforementioned sales agents, whether cash or electronic, electronic payment cards, Visa & Master, for traders affiliated with the contracting agents contracting with the authority.
The authority confirms that it spared no effort to provide the best possible service to the passenger public, in light of the great interest that the state attaches to this important vital facility that transports millions of passengers annually, which brought about a great qualitative shift in the level of service provided.
