Dutch legend Road Khoulit, the former captain of the Netherlands and the Italian club IC Milan, revealed his opinion on the best football players in the world, as Cristiano Ronaldo described as “the greatest in history.”
In his interview with the Portuguese newspaper “Apla A Bola”, Khoulit pointed out to the exceptional characteristics of Ronaldo, which makes him superior to everyone.
Jullit stressed that Ronaldo is “the greatest character in the world of football”, considering that it is the perfect model for all players, and the best example in work and commitment, even at the age of forty, as he still achieves his goals with persistence, adding: “For me, he is the best in his time and one of the greatest football players throughout the ages.”
Press reports had previously circulated harsh criticism directed by Jullit to Ronaldo after Portugal left the Euro 2024 championship, but the Dutch star denied these reports, stressing that he had not directed any personal criticism of the Portuguese player, and said: “I did not criticize Cristiano after Euro 2024, so each team bears responsibility for getting out of the championship.”
Ronaldo is an example of professionalism
Jullit praised Ronaldo’s great commitment to work, considering that his high professionalism is a source of inspiration for his teammates in the Portuguese national team and his Saudi victory.
He added: “He is an integrated player in the full sense of the word, and his endless professionalism makes him an example to be followed by all football practitioners.”
Jullit also talked about the history of Portuguese football, noting that the country has presented to the world many great stars such as the 2000 generation that fought the European Nations Cup, in addition to the current generation that won the title in 2016.
He added: “The Portuguese football has always been full of talents, and its successes are continuing today.”

On the other hand, Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the greatest football players in history, scoring 929 goals in 1271 games over his bus career, Ronaldo played clubs, such as: Sporting Lisbon, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus, and Saudi victory, in addition to representing his country Portugal since 2002.
