The Ministry of Education lay the foundation stone for the establishment of a new government school for girls in Qalali

The Ministry of Education held the event of laying the foundation stone for the establishment of a new government school for girls in Qalali, in the presence of Dr. Muhammad bin Mubarak Jumaa, Minister of Education, Sheikh Thamer Jaber Al -Ahmad Al -Sabah, the ambassador of the sisterly State of Kuwait to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Khaled Saleh Bouak, a member of the House of Representatives for the fifth district of Muharraq Governorate, Saleh Jassim Bouhaza, Vice -President of the Muharraq Municipal Council, and a number of officials in the ministry and from the Kuwaiti Economic Development Fund Arabic and from the project’s executive office.

On this occasion, the Minister of Education stressed that this new project comes within the framework of the government’s keenness headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, may God protect him, to develop the level of educational services provided in various governorates, by establishing more new schools and additional buildings in existing schools, in a way that enhances the Ministry’s efforts to advance the quality of government education, praising the role of the Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development in implementing this project.

The minister pointed out that the establishment of this school will be according to the latest educational standards, with modern and environmentally friendly specifications, with an area of ​​14 thousand and 500 square meters, including academic buildings and administrative building, 44 classrooms, a capacity of 1540 students, two prescriptions for students with special needs, two science laboratories, two computer laboratories, and two laboratories For technical education, laboratories for design and technology, a wide gym, a center of knowledge sources, a music room, employee offices, 66 parking lots, and other facilities and features enhanced the educational process.

The minister stressed that this project comes within an integrated plan approved to build 18 schools in various regions of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and add 23 academic buildings in a number of existing schools, as well as the reopening of a number of historical public schools, and the implementation of a sustainable maintenance program for all schools to ensure the preservation of educational infrastructure and provide the best educational services through them.

For his part, Khaled Saleh Boualneq, a member of the House of Representatives, praised the government’s interest in meeting the needs of citizens in the various governorates, foremost of which is related to education, noting that this new school will constitute a qualitative addition to the people of the region and the surrounding areas, expressing his thanks and appreciation to the Ministry of Education for following up the implementation of educational infrastructure plans that guarantee the provision of the best services to citizens.
