His Excellency pointed out that the Prime Minister of the Press 2025 is a continuation of the successes it achieved during the previous sessions, to continue its career in motivating the Bahraini media cadres to provide distinguished content that reflects the renaissance and development that the Kingdom of Bahrain is witnessing in various fields, in addition to supporting young competencies from students of the press and media, and encouraging local newspapers to diversify its digital content, in line with the developments of the scene Media.
His Excellency the Minister of Information concluded his statement by emphasizing that the Bahraini press will continue to perform its noble role in preserving the faithfulness of the word, raising awareness, and highlighting the national achievements achieved in the prosperous era of His Majesty the Great King -may God protect and preserve him -wishing all the participants in the award success.
The Prime Minister of the Press Prize includes 2025 groups of categories that celebrate various aspects of journalistic work, and includes: the best opinion column category, the best journalistic investigation category, the best press dialogue category, the category of best journalistic image, the best specialized page or an attachment, the best visual journalistic content (video), the best infographic category, the best website and electronic account for press institutions, the best student press project category For universities, the category of the Personal Personality Award, a journalistic journalistic prize, which is granted to a media figure, contributed effectively to the development of the Bahraini press scene, and left a clear imprint in the national media scene.
It is noteworthy that the award requires that the participants be limited to the press materials published during the year 2024 in the local press, in addition to the student press projects for the academic year 2024-2025 for students of colleges and departments of the press and media in Bahraini universities. Each press institution is entitled to register only one participation for each of its employees in each of the award categories, and the colleges of the press and media in Bahraini universities are allowed to nominate only ten visual work within the category of “Best Student Press Project”. It is also required that the submitted work had not previously won any local or international award, and the official candidacy form that the press and academic institutions will be supplied with the mechanism approved by the committee.
