The Minister of Health discusses increasing the opportunities for women’s employment .. and stresses the need to revise dramas to enhance awareness

Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, chaired the meeting of the Ministerial Group for Human Development, to discuss a number of important joint axes aimed at achieving the sustainable development goals, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Health and Population in the new administrative capital.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Rania Al -Mashat, Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation, Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Counselor Adnan Fenjri, Minister of Justice, Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Manal Awad, Minister of Local Development, Dr. Maya Morsi, Minister of Social Solidarity, Dr. Osama Al -Azhari, Minister of Awqaf, Mr. Mohamed Ahmed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, And Dr. Ahmed Hano, Minister of Culture, Dr. Saleh Al -Sheikh, Head of the Central Agency for Organization and Administration, Dr. Majid Othman, Rapporteur of the Supreme Consulting Committee for Human Development, Dr. Abla Al -Alfi, Deputy Minister of Health and Population, Dr. Mustafa Magdy, Assistant Minister of Youth and Sports for Strategic Affairs, Mrs. Zainab Al -Sadr, Assistant Deputy Minister of Health and Population, and Counselor Wadih Hanna, Director of the Technical Office of the Minister of Justice and supervisor of the Minister’s Office Rashid, head of the cooperation team with the United Nations at the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar stressed the importance of unifying coordination efforts between the ministries, regarding the file of human development, as well as the importance of enhancing coordination between all concerned authorities to allow the necessary data to prepare national reports and in cooperation with international bodies.

Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar discussed what was reached and the implementation rates for the plan to link education with the job market available to students after graduating from universities and technical treasures, as he stressed the importance of focusing on creating good job opportunities for women, in order to achieve equality and increase the percentage of women’s participation in the labor market, in addition to the importance of creating service communities around the new residential areas in which the state pumped huge investments to have a return on sustainable human development goals and the reconstruction of those cities.

Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar also stressed the importance of revising the dramatic works submitted to citizens and focusing on the positive messages that are presented to them, and the need to work in accordance with an integrated plan to develop specific messages aimed at raising cultural and religious awareness among citizens, and the minister also touched on a discussion.

In turn, Dr. Rania Al -Mashat, Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation, reviewed the historical background for the preparation of human development reports in Egypt since 1994, and the outcomes of the Human Development Report issued during the year 2021, in cooperation with the United Nations Development Program, in terms of recommendations related to the promotion of investment in human capital, the continued reform of the health care system, and the achievement of equal opportunities, and others.

Dr. Rania Al -Mashat touched on the ministry’s expectations for the Human Development Report, as the national coordinator, which is expected to provide detailed assessments of human development at the national level, and works to enhance societal dialogue on national policies on comprehensive economic development, focus on using data to determine the existing development gaps between geographical areas and between segments of society, and come out with recommendations that enhance national efforts to achieve comprehensive and sustainable growth, And accelerate progress towards achieving sustainable development goals.

For his part, Counselor Adnan Al -Fangari stressed the work to prepare specific elements and proposals by the Ministry of Justice to discuss them during the upcoming meetings, stressing the importance of strengthening and joint efforts between the ministries and the concerned authorities in its field, in order to achieve the sustainable development goals.

While Dr. Ashraf Sobhi stressed the importance of setting new and unconventional axes to achieve the sustainable development goals, in proportion to the current challenges and ensures their resolution, pointing to the importance of working to provide an economic environment incubating for citizens, especially young people, in a manner that ensures a good economic return and achieves the public interest of citizens.

In her speech, Dr. Maya Morsi indicated the importance of enhancing joint cooperation between the ministries and the concerned authorities to implement the recommendations of the report after discussing them, in a manner that ensures the achievement of sustainable development goals and achieves well -being of citizens and serves the state’s vision in this regard.

For his part, Mr. Mohamed Ahmed Abdel Latif said that the ministry is working to conclude many joint agreements with international professional companies to provide decent job opportunities for graduate students, while providing specialized training to refine their skills and train them to work in those companies.

During his speech, Dr. Saleh Al -Sheikh praised the efforts made by all the ministries and concerned authorities, to develop clear plans aimed at achieving the sustainable development goals.

For his part, Dr. Majid Othman, decision of the Supreme Consulting Committee for Human Development, reviewed the basic role of the committee, the methodology of its work and the mechanisms of organizing the work of the committee, as well as reviewing the institutional framework of the committee, the methodology of its work, its organization mechanisms and its institutional framework, as well as the methodology of work and priority areas, where the indicators of Egypt are guided compared to the indicators of the countries of the world and international, regional and national reports, in addition to a review The most prominent results in analyzing international indicators, and committee’s proposals for work accelerators.
