The Kingdom of Bahrain continued to highlight its fixed positions in defending Arab issues, foremost of which is the Palestinian issue. Through the sublime word delivered by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, may God protect him in the extraordinary session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the summit level (Palestine Summit), there was a real embodiment of the wise leadership values of the great king, and an affirmation of the Kingdom’s firm and continuous commitment to the Palestinian issue.
The word His Majesty at the summit was a testimony of strength and stability in the positions adopted by the Kingdom of Bahrain towards the Palestinian issue, as His Majesty stressed that Bahrain will remain, as it is always, at the forefront of defenders of the rights of the Palestinian people. By emphasizing Bahrain’s adherence to the thirty -third Arab summit outputs held in the Kingdom of Bahrain during the month of May, His Majesty, may God protect him, referred to the stability of the joint Arab position, and the need to continue the work to activate these outputs on the ground in a tangible manner, with the aim of ensuring the rights of Palestinians in their land.
Regarding the Kingdom of Bahrain’s complete rejection of all attempts to forced displacement and settlement expansion, His Majesty’s clear and expressive positions have had a great impact on the international community motivating more pressure to stop these violations. Bahrain’s position, led by His Majesty, reflects the spirit of Arab solidarity and ensuring that there are no temporary solutions or a relaxation in the Palestinian issue entitlements.
The Kingdom of Bahrain was not limited to supporting Palestine through political statements and positions, but it was always a forerunner in providing humanitarian and development support to the Palestinian people. In his speech, His Majesty, may God protect him, stressed the importance of the continuity of political and humanitarian support, which is embodied in the role that the Kingdom plays through humanitarian initiatives and urgent assistance to the Palestinian regions.
In the midst of the challenges that the region is going through, His Majesty appears in every word and in every position of the power of will and clarity of vision. Bahrain, under His Majesty’s leadership, spare no effort in defending the rights of the Palestinians, and it continues to work at all levels to ensure their legitimate rights to independence and freedom, support the historical rights of the brotherly Palestinian people in self -determination, and establish an independent national state based on the two -state solution with East Jerusalem as its capital.
The words of His Majesty the King, may God protect him at the summit of Palestine, are only evidence of a deep vision of the future, and a sincere desire to achieve a fair and comprehensive peace. As we have entrusted, Bahrain remains fixed in its position, supporting the Palestinian issue, keen to enhance Arab solidarity, and that Bahrain will always be present in defending the legitimate rights of Palestinian brothers, whatever the circumstances.
