His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the Great Country, may God protect and preserve him, received a congratulatory message from the His Excellency the Grand Imam, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al -Tayeb, Sheikh of Al -Azhar Al -Sharif, on the occasion of the coming Eid Al -Fitr, following its text:

Peace, mercy and blessings of God be upon you, and after:
Al -Azhar Al -Sharif, in all its bodies, raises to your noble position the best and the most sincere wishes on the occasion of Eid Al -Fitr.
As I send to your majesty the congratulations of Al -Azhar and Al -Azhar on this happy occasion, to take the opportunity to express to your majesty my pride in the relationship of the honorable Al -Azhar rooted in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and I assure Al -Azhar’s keenness to consolidate it in order to spread the true Islamic religion, its tolerance and moderation, and highlight the highest meanings of human coexistence, respect and world peace.
My prayers for the Lord – Glory be to Him – to restore this occasion to your Majesty with good health, happiness and longevity, and the people of the Kingdom of Bahrain with more progress, prosperity and sophistication.
