His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country, may God protect and preserve him, approved and issued Law No. (8) of 2025 to ratify the agreement between the government of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the government of the United Arab Emirates to remove the double taxation regarding income taxes and prevent tax evasion and avoiding, after the approval of the Shura Council and the House of Representatives, stating:
Article 1
The agreement between the government of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the government of the United Arab Emirates was prepared to remove the tax duplication regarding income taxes and prevent tax evasion and avoidance, signed in Dubai on February 11, 2024 AD, and accompanying this law.
Article Two
The Prime Minister and the ministers- each regarding his competence- must implement the provisions of this law, and it is working on it from the day following the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
