His Majesty King Abdullah II, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, affirmed today, Wednesday, that Israel’s resumption of its attacks on Gaza is a dangerous step that worsened the humanitarian situation, calling on the international community to restore the ceasefire immediately. This came during joint statements with French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris, where the Jordanian monarch stressed the need to introduce aid to Gaza and stop the escalation in the West Bank, which deserted 40,000 Palestinians this year.
According to the Jordan News Agency (Petra), the Jordanian monarch praised France’s support for the Gaza reconstruction plan, stressing that the two -state solution is the way to peace and support Jordan for the stability of Syria. For his part, Macron stressed France’s readiness to support the plan and enhance the ceasefire, stressing the importance of the Palestinian state with security guarantees for Israel, and praising Jordan’s humanitarian and security cooperation.
