The Iraq embassy in Cairo opens the unified national card issuance station

The Deputy Prime Minister and Iraqi Foreign Minister Dr. Fouad Hussein, the unified national card issuance station, opened in the consular section of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Cairo, on the sidelines of his current visit to Egypt.

A statement of the Iraqi embassy stated that the opening of the unified national card issuance station comes within the framework of implementing the Iraqi government’s commitment to simplify administrative procedures and provide the best services to the Iraqi community, in a manner that guarantees speed, accuracy and transparency.

The minister stressed that serving citizens is one of the priorities of the government program in general, and that in particular it is making efforts to achieve and implement everything that would support Iraqi citizens residing abroad, and work on everything that keeps them in direct contact with their country and their national institutions effectively.

For his part, the Iraqi ambassador to Cairo, Dr. Qahtan Taha Khalaf, indicated that this project comes within the framework of the implementation of the government program announced by Prime Minister Eng. Muhammad Sha’a Al -Sudani, and with direct support from the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Dr. Fouad Hussein, stressing that the Iraqi embassies will remain homes for all Iraqis and their first goal is to serve and sponsor their interests.

The ambassador pointed out that the total number of Iraqi missions in which the national card issuance offices will be opened is 26 mission, and the offices have been opened so far in 8 missions, including the Iraq embassy in Cairo, while work is underway to complete the opening of 18 other mission in the coming period.
