The Criminal Court, the first degree in the Cairo Court of Appeal, has acquitted a young man from the charge of threatening a girl and publishing her visual clips, after looking at the case and listening to the defense defense, which questioned the evidence of the accusation and confirmed that it was not sufficient to condemn the accused.

The investigation authorities had charged the accused with the threat accompanied by a request, according to the text of Article 327/1 of the Penal Code, against the background of his accusation of threatening the victim of divulging matters that violate honor, through videos documenting their relationship, to force them to continue the relationship.
During the trial sessions, the defense prompted the absence of the cornerstone of the crime, noting that there is no conclusive evidence to prove the validity of allegations, and also stabbed the legitimacy of some technical evidence submitted in the case, explaining the possibility of manipulating the clips attributed to the accused.
The victim’s statements came with an emotional relationship that arose between her and the accused for nearly a year that developed to establish an illegal relationship, the accused has been documenting her with visual clips using his mobile phone, but if she refused to complete that relationship, the accused threatened her repeatedly to publish those visible clips that show them while practicing the sexual relationship.
The victim continued that the accused threatened her to send her to her family and those around her from her friends and colleagues at the university in order to complete this sinful relationship, so she humiliated him so that he would not fulfill his family, except that he sent a few of those clips to some of those around her.
