Dr. Ayyad, the Grand Mufti of the Egyptian Diyar, affirmed that the Islamic religion is not limited to prayer and worship, but rather an integrated system that combines belief, law and morals.
The former Egyptian Mufti of the Egyptian Diyar explained, during the episode of the Hadith of the Mufti, broadcast on the Al -Nas channel, today, Saturday, that all the heavenly messages, from Adam, peace be upon him, to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, were based on these three pillars, indicating that the doctrine is what gives a person awareness of the truth of existence and answers the major existential questions, while the law regulates the life of man and his behaviors, and the morals come to be the basic officer.
The Mufti of the Republic added that the Islamic religion emphasizes the importance of the integration of these aspects, pointing to the famous hadith of Gabriel, where the Prophet ﷺ was asked about Islam, faith and charity, so his answers came to reflect these three pillars, stressing that the sound doctrine is reflected in human behavior, and if he realizes that God sees and monitors it, he will not commit sins, and will not move away from good morals.
He pointed out that any attempt to separate one of these pillars from the other leads to a defect in the understanding of religion, explaining that limiting to acts of worship without consolidating the correct belief or adhering to ethics leads to the failure to achieve the goal that God wanted for a person from worship, citing the saying of God Almighty: “O you who believe in the goodness of you Those before you may fear you, “as he stressed that faith is a necessary introduction to worship until its desired impact is achieved.
Dr. Ayyad called on the necessity of comprehensive awareness of the concept of religion, and not to reduce it on one side, stressing that the integration of belief, Sharia, and morals is the way to achieve the right behavior that leads to the goodness of the individual and society.
