Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, said that the establishment year for high school students is being completed in which the Cabinet’s decision was issued, noting the importance of implementing the founding year in supporting the increase in the number of students coming to Egypt.
Ashour added, during the breakfast ceremony of expatriate students, in the presence of a number of university presidents, that the qualifying year will be applied to the expatriate students, following up: Advantages will be provided for expatriate students that include comprehensive medical insurance for expatriate students.
The founding year for high school students and expatriates
Earlier, Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister Higher education And scientific research, on the date of the implementation of the founding year for university students, stressing that the founding year was approved by the Council of Ministers, and it is now before the House of Representatives, where the Council studies it, and as soon as the House of Representatives approves it, we will implement it.
The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research said in statements to Cairo 24, that if the founding year of the House of Representatives is approved during the coming period, it will be present in the next academic year.
He added that the founding year will be useful for expatriate students, and there will also be an increase in the numbers of expatriate students present in Egyptian universities, and in addition to that there was a request from the cultural advisers present in the embassies with the presence of the founding year, because the expatriate students there will be some subjects that they did not study in their country.
