Dr. Mohamed Farouk revealed; Director of the East City Hospital in Alexandria, details of the video circulating, in which he appears to appeal to some women to hand over the body of their father after his death and accuse them of the hospital of detaining his body his death until the payment of 300 thousand pounds.

Farouk said in a statement to Cairo 24, that the patient is a Palestinian citizen who has been residing in Egypt for years and is known to the consulate and is married to an Egyptian and has sons, some of whom have Egyptian citizenship. One of the associations pays some amounts.
He added: With the length of the period, the family contacted the consulate and asked them to end some paper matters, but the son did not finish the papers, which made the amount accumulated and increased until it reached nearly 300 thousand pounds.
He stressed that the family failed for two months to end the procedures that the consulate requested to implement, and after the death of the case, the family began to defame us, and with the conversation I contacted myself with the consulate and was able to provide assistance to end the procedures.
The director of the East City Hospital said that yesterday the procedures were completed and the family was informed of the receipt of the body, but they refused and demanded a delay in receiving it until today, so he asked them to sign a declaration of their responsibility for this delay.
