Portugal qualified for the European Championship semi-finals, after beating its Denmark counterpart in the first-quarter-quarter-final matches with a score of 5-3, as the first leg ended with the victory of the Denmark team with a score of 1-0, while the Portuguese team in the second leg won 5-2 at Alfadi Stadium.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s comment
Cristiano Ronaldo said in press statements after the end of the meeting: I will leave Alfali Stadium, all the Portuguese and our heads are raised.
Francisco Trinkao’s comment
For his part, the Portuguese national team, Francisco Trinko, said in press statements, after his country qualified: I thank our fans, as Cristiano also helped us to motivate them, we were one family and we were able to achieve this good result.
He continued: Cristiano helps a lot to attract fans to us.
Francisco Trinkau scored two goals in the Portugal and Denmark match in the second leg of the quarter -finals, to be credited with the qualification of Ronaldo’s comrades to the semi -finals.
