The Equal Opportunities Committee of the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments held its first periodic meeting of the year 2025, headed by Professor Dana Khamis Al -Zayani, the undersecretary of the courts, the family success and alimony, a member of the Supreme Council for Women, Chairman of the Equal Opportunities Committee at the Ministry.
Al -Zayani affirmed the keenness of the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments to enhance the programs of equal opportunities in all fields such as training, scholarship, job promotion and membership of the committees, taking into account the needs of women.
The committee discussed the developments of the proposed programs in coordination with the Supreme Council for Women and various government agencies, to achieve the upcoming plans that the committee intends to implement in the framework of achieving the gender equivalence and equal opportunities.
It also reviewed the proposal to increase training programs that support efforts to achieve gender balance at all levels within the ministry.
