Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, held this evening at the government headquarters in the new administrative capital, a meeting with Boroot Bahour, former President of the Republic of Slovenia, in the presence of the team, the entire engineer, the Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development, the Minister of Industry and Transport, Ambassador Sasho Boudlusnik, the Ambassador of Slovenia to Cairo, and Ambassador Yasser Hashem, Deputy Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Central European Affairs, Micha Yorgits, President Lancom’s executive, and a number of Lancum officials.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister welcomed the officials of the Slovenian Lancum company working in the field of railway systems, expressing his aspiration to cooperate with the company through a project presented on its part on preventing trains accidents using artificial intelligence.
The team, Kamel, welcomed the former President of the Republic of Slovenia and the officials of “Lancum”, noting that the company is working in the field of railways and has experience in projects of protection systems and reduce railway accidents, and we are looking forward to cooperating with the company in this field.

Reducing railway accidents
The minister continued: We already have a number of international companies that work in the field of rail information systems, and we will consider what the company can provide us with in the field of protection and reduce railway accidents.
The Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development, Minister of Industry and Transport, indicated that it was agreed with the officials of the Slovenian company that there will be an experimental project that will be applied to one of the railway lines.
The minister pointed out that the extent of the success of the experimental project will determine the decision to move to implement the project on a larger scale or not.
At the end of the meeting, the Prime Minister expressed his aspiration to achieve progress with the Slovenian company in this project, which will be very beneficial to the Egyptian rail network, directing the formation of a technical team to discuss the details of the project and choose the experimental project site.
