4 people were killed and 10 others were injured in a terrible traffic accident today, Saturday, in Upper Egypt.
The accident, which occurred between a passenger bus and another car in Assiut in the south of the country, necessitated the intervention of ambulances and security forces to transport the injured to the hospital.
The Director of Assiut Security received a report from the Criminal Investigation Department of a collision on the Manfalut/Assiut agricultural road, which resulted in deaths and injuries. 7 ambulances were sent in addition to the traffic and security forces to the accident site.
The governor of Assiut and the director of security moved to the place, where the inspection showed that the accident was caused by the collision of the bus with another car as a result of the extra speed, which led to the death of 4 people and the injury of 10 others.
The bodies were transferred to the morgue of Manfalut Hospital, while the injured were taken to Assiut General Hospital and Assiut University Hospital
