Expectations indicate that the Danish journey Christian Eriksen, in the ranks of Manchester United, is about to finish at the end of his contract next summer.
He revealed that he had not received any contacts to renew his contract with Manchester United during the last period, and the Ajax player, Tottenham and Inter Milan had not previously taken any decisions regarding his future so far.
“I have not heard anything from the club, so I assume that the cooperation would stop, so I explained the matter,” Eriksen said in comments reported by the Danish media before confronting Portugal in the European Nations League.
He added: “My contract ends this summer, and I prepare to find something new, I am fine with that, where will it be?
He concluded: “I do not intend to stay in England, I will not go to America, I will not go far, I would like to stay in Europe, but the time is still early to return to Denmark, I feel that I still have some good years abroad.”
Eriksen, 33, joined Manchester United in a free transfer deal in July 2022, after a short professional period in Brentford, after returning to football fields after a period of absence after suffering a heart attack in Euro 2020.
