Sources revealed the details of the response of the Egyptian Professional Clubs Association to the Egyptian Olympic Committee, regarding the complaint of Al -Ahly Club about the crisis of the summit match against Zamalek, which was scheduled to be held on March 11 in the Egyptian Premier League competitions.

The Clubs Association responded to the Olympic Committee regarding Al -Ahly’s complaint

The Clubs Association explained that there is no draw for the final stage of the Premier League competition, and that what happened was the issuance of a table of matches according to the lot at the beginning of the season in the presence of all clubs participating in the tournament.

Regarding the announcement of the date of the matches late, the Clubs Association indicated that this is due to the end of the last match in the tour and the obtaining of security approvals, as the announcement came late due to the association’s keenness not to waste any time for the clubs after specifying the two stages.

In its response to the Olympic Committee, the Clubs Association added that both Al -Ahly or Zamalek club did not officially ask for the appointment of a foreign referees team to manage the summit match between them in the Premier League, as Al -Ahly continued orally with the Egyptian Football Association and the Club Association to appoint foreign referees.

The Clubs Association confirmed that it had submitted a request to bring in a foreign arbitration team to manage the summit match between Al -Ahly and Zamalek, but the time of time was an obstacle to the Football Association and prevented him from bringing foreign referees, and this is a relative appreciation of the federation.
