His Excellency Dr. Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, attended the honoring ceremony held today by the Leadership and Public Staff College in Levnworth, USA, on the occasion of his joining, and a number of college graduates, to the college’s celebrity hall who held high -level positions in their countries.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Lieutenant -General Biggal, the commander of the Leadership and Public Staff, delivered a speech in which he expressed his appreciation for the honorees, their distinguished service and their contributions to enriching the college’s work, praising their giving and devotion to the service of their countries, noting the excellence of the Foreign Minister during his career and contributions to strengthening the partnerships of the Kingdom of Bahrain with the countries of the world.
During the ceremony, the Bahraini national peace was played and the college commander presented to the Foreign Minister a certificate of appreciation to join the celebrity hall at the college.
On this occasion, His Excellency Dr. Abdullatif Al -Zayani delivered a speech in which he expressed his pride in honoring him by the College of Command and Public Staff in Levinworth, and his joining the celebrity hall at the college, as an important achievement in his career and the embodiment of the values and experiences that were formed and affected in that march.
The Foreign Minister expressed his commitment to make all efforts to be as well as His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, may God protect and preserve him, explaining that His Majesty was the first Bahraini officer to graduate from this ancient college, and among the first group joined to the celebrity hall, expressing gratitude for the care and support he received from His Majesty throughout his career in the military, security and diplomatic corps.
His Excellency the Minister also expressed his gratitude for the support and directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, may God protect him, who seeks with the Bahrain team to protect the interests of the country and the region in general, expressing appreciation to His Excellency Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander -in -Chief of the Bahrain Defense Force, and His Excellency the first team Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, for their pivotal role in his personal development.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs praised the knowledge, experiences and principles he acquired in the college, which contributed not only to his personal development, but also affected his success and enhancing his contributions in various areas of social life.
He said that he realized, through his study in the college, that the real leadership exceeds the limits of the authority granted, as it requires a deep understanding of the leaders ’intents, the capabilities of individuals, and the contexts that are being worked on, and that it is the duty of leadership to match the actions with a clear vision, while maintaining the ability to adapt to the conditions of uncertainty and challenges challenge.
He stressed that the ability to adapt was decisive for him while moving from military service to the Presidency of the General Security in support of the political reform program of His Majesty, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, which aims to enhance the effectiveness of law enforcement by building real confidence and partnership with citizens.
He added that he had the honor of his appointment by His Majesty the King, the Great Minister of Foreign Affairs since 2020, and since then he has been doing his best to achieve His Majesty’s vision that the Middle East region be a region that prevails in peace, stability, prosperity and interdependence between its peoples.
The Foreign Minister stressed that he has sought striving since his graduation from this prestigious college to apply the principles and values that he learned, and he is keen to benefit from the fruits of this education in promoting peace and regional and international security, especially in light of the urgent need for international cooperation and partnerships to confront critical issues.
The ceremony was attended by His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United States of America, Brigadier Jassim Abdullah Al -Jowder, the military attaché at the Kingdom’s embassy in Washington, Ambassador Talal Abdel Salam Al -Ansari, Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Saeed Abdel Khaliq, Head of Coordination and Follow -up, and a number of senior military leaders and students in the college and a number of diplomats working in the Kingdom’s embassy in Washington.
