This came during the presidency of His Excellency the first meeting of the Board of Trustees of the “Studies” Center for this year, in the presence of the members of the Council, Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim Al -Asiri, Sheikh Fahd bin Abdul Rahman Al Khalifa, Dr. Khalifa bin Ali Al -Fadil, and Dr. Sheikha Munira Bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, and Mrs. Maha Abdel Hamid Mufiz, in addition to Dr. Hamad Ibrahim Al -Abdullah, Executive Director of the Center, at the center’s headquarters.
At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency the Minister, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of “Studies”, raised the highest verses of congratulations and blessings to the shrine of His Majesty the King of the country, may God protect and preserve him, and to His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, on the occasion of the coming Eid Al -Fitr, calling on the Almighty to bring him back to the Bahraini people and the Arab and Islamic nations and the world as a whole with good, peace and prosperity.
He expressed his appreciation for the giving of Bahraini youth of both sexes, and their scientific, intellectual and research creations, on the occasion of celebrating their national day on the twenty -fifth of March of each year, appreciating their contributions to supporting the comprehensive and sustainable development process in light of the royal royal care and the directions of the government, and the initiatives of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Acts and Youth Affairs, President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports.
The Board of Trustees of “Studies” reviewed the activities and activities of the center during the first quarter of this year, and its most prominent achievements in preparing studies, research and strategic analyzes, organizing workshops, seminars, forums and intellectual dialogues, and participating in regional and international forums that strengthened his position as a platform for research and strategic analysis, and his media presence in local and international newspapers, and other research contributions, as well as his adoption Financial report for the fiscal year 2024.
The Board of Trustees praised the progress of research partnerships with national intellectual, academic, scientific and international institutions, noting the fruitful cooperation with Egyptian thought centers, within the framework of the decisions of the Bahraini -Egyptian joint government committee, through holding meetings with the Information Center and Decision Support in the Egyptian Cabinet, the Al -Ahram Center for Political and Strategic Studies, the World Forum for Future Studies, and coordination with the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States, and other aspects of cooperation with Arab and international institutions and international organizations in support of sustainable research, intellectual and development work.
The Board of Trustees pointed to the importance of specialized intellectual dialogues organized by the center, on vital topics such as energy, open flag, foreign encyclopedias, and the role of guidance in supporting the professional development of Bahraini youth, attention to developing innovative research solutions in the sustainable energy sector, and benefiting from technology and innovation in developing future research.
He noted the establishment of the “Scientific Research Committee in the field of cybersecurity”, as a qualitative step aimed at developing specialized studies in cybersecurity, by benefiting from the experiences of researchers and academics in cooperation with the National Center for Cyber Security, the Nasser Scientific and Technical Center, Bahrain University, the Arab Gulf University, and the Bahrain Polytechnic; Within the framework of an integrated research environment that contributes to enhancing information security and addressing cyber challenges.
