This came during the receipt of her Excellency the Organization Prize in the field of tourism leadership for the year 2025, from His Excellency Dr. Bandar bin Fahid Al Fahid, President of the Arab Tourism Organization, affiliated to the League of Arab States, during his visit to the country, in appreciation of the development achieved at the level of the tourism sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain and its impact on supporting Arab tourism in a more general way, where His Excellency the Minister expressed her thanks and appreciation to the Arab Tourism Organization for this honor, Stressing that the Kingdom of Bahrain will continue to work hand in hand with the Arab countries to enhance joint tourism cooperation, and to launch initiatives aimed at promoting the Gulf Cooperation Council states and the Arab countries as one tourist destination.
Minister Al -Serafi added that this honor is a testament to the great efforts made by the Kingdom in developing the tourism sector, which is considered a basic pillar for achieving sustainable development, and the achievements made in terms of tourism indicators by increasing the number of tourist nights and the growth of tourism revenues, and increasing the contribution of the sector to the gross domestic product, stressing the continuation of the work to achieve the desired goals in response to the aspirations and what is good On the homeland and citizens.
