The value of Zakat can be determined in another way by knowing the prices of food commodities, but this leads to a slight difference in the value of Zakat, whether it is decreasing or increasing, and in order to determine a minimum level, the authorities inside Saudi Arabia have set a minimum amount of zakat per person at least 15 Saudi riyals and no more than 20 Saudi riyals.
