The central stores of the Electricity and Water Authority presented a fifth tender to purchase electrical cutters, and one company submitted to it a bid of no more than 327.8 thousand dinars, and a sixth bidding to supply doors to the lighting columns with a height of 16 meters, and two companies were submitted to it with a least bid at 29.2 thousand dinars, while the authority presented another tender to rebuild the separation wall in the Muharraq depot of the Electricity Distribution Department, And 14 companies competed with varying bids at the least of 36.6 thousand dinars.
The authority also submitted a tender for consulting services for the project to establish an independent station to produce solar energy in partnership with the private sector in the Blage Algeria region, with the aim of raising the contribution of alternative and renewable energies in the total energy mixture, to achieve Bahrain’s goals by 5% by 2025 to 20% by 2035, then reach the zero neutrality by 2060. With a production capacity of up to 120 megawatts of electricity, and that the commercial operation of the station begins in the summer of 2027, and three companies submitted to this tender with different bids at the least of 506 thousand dinars.
