Javier Thibbas, president of the Spanish League, revealed the intervention of Real Madrid president, to help Barcelona in a crisis in Danny Olmo and Bau Victor, despite the refusal of the “La Liga” and the Spanish Federation to register them due to allegations of non -compliance with the rules of fair financial play.

The Spanish Sports Council gave Barcelona an emergency decision to register Olmo on January 8, before the start of the Spanish Super Cup, which sparked widespread controversy within the corridors of Spanish football.

Thibbas wrote through his account on the “X” platform, stressing that Perez contacted the Supreme Council of Sports and its Chair to support the registration of Barcelona players.

He added that European clubs, including the Spanish, have previously played matches less than 72 hours after participating in continental competitions, indicating that the objections to the dates of the matches are unjustified.

It is expected that the Supreme Committee for Sports will issue its decision in early April, as it demands Barcelona to keep the players registered, while the League continues to oppose the decision, which increases the complexity of the scene in Spanish football.
