The Sharjah Charitable Society distributed 448,470 fasting breakfast meals during the first half of the blessed month, through 136 sites in the different regions of the Emir of Sharjah within its annual project, “Breakfast of Fasting”. Abdullah Sultan bin Khadem, Executive Director of the Association, said that the distribution sites were carefully chosen, to include residential areas and industrial areas that include large numbers of workers and needy families, to ensure that aid has reached the most easily needed groups. He explained that the association relies on trained field teams that include employees and volunteers, to supervise the distribution operations. Pointing out that during the holy month, the association aims to distribute a million breakfast. (WAM)
